Editorial and Corrections Policy
Effective date: September 16, 2026
Our editorial purpose
Astronomer publishes educational material about options-market signals and the public records produced by its platform. Our goal is to explain what the system observed, how published measurements were calculated, and what those measurements do and do not show. Content is not personalized financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell a security.
Research and review
Factual claims are checked against the public signal archive, primary references, or other sources identified in the article. Performance statements must state their sample, measurement horizon, relevant exclusions, and material limitations. When an article describes Astronomer’s signal calculations, it should agree with the published methodology. Authors and reviewers are identified when appropriate, and any experience or credentials attributed to them must be supportable.
Independence and commercial interests
Astronomer’s editorial content may discuss features of the paid platform and may link to pricing or registration pages. Those commercial interests do not change the underlying signal record or justify omitting unfavorable observations. Sponsored material or a material third-party relationship will be disclosed where it appears.
Corrections and updates
We correct confirmed factual, calculation, sourcing, and link errors as soon as reasonably practical. Material changes are reflected in the article’s updated date and, when useful to the reader, explained in the article. Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note.
Published signal records are not rewritten to improve reported results. If a source-data or processing error affects a record or aggregate statistic, we correct the affected information and preserve a clear explanation when the change is material. Missing or implausible data may be excluded under the published methodology, but exclusions must be applied consistently.
Report an error
To report a possible error, email support@astronomerapp.com with the page URL, the statement or calculation in question, and any supporting source. We review specific, reproducible reports and update the published page when a correction is warranted.
