Options Signal Methodology
Astronomer converts raw options-market activity into structured, timestamped signals — an educational data feed you can inspect end to end. Every detection is logged the instant it fires; what you do with it is entirely up to you.
For educational purposes only. Signals are observations of market activity — not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options trading involves substantial risk, including the loss of principal. Do your own research.
From tape to signal
Three stages, fully in the open. Detection is deterministic, the record is permanent, and outcomes are measured — not asserted.
Detect
A quantitative engine reads the live options tape, isolating statistically significant shifts in volume and flow the instant they surface. An AI layer renders each detection into readable context — it never invents the signal.
Record
Every signal is fixed the moment it fires — symbol, timestamp, direction, strike, expiration, and the underlying price to the tick. Point-in-time, with no hindsight and no edits.
Measure
Each signal is tracked against the underlying's subsequent move and published to an open archive — labeled as observed estimates, never presented as guaranteed or executable returns.
What every signal carries
A complete description of a single contract — enough to identify exactly what was detected, fixed at the moment of detection and never inferred after the fact.

The data is open — the engine stays ours
We publish the outputs and the full record. The logic that produces them is proprietary and undisclosed.

Audit the record
Every published SPY signal is timestamped and preserved — the full history, open for inspection.
