How to read these AAPL put signals

Each AAPL put signal is a timestamped algorithmic detection of unusual AAPL options activity. Read the call or put direction together with its strike, expiration, detection time, and subsequent movement in the underlying. The archive preserves those observations for research; it does not tell visitors whether or when to trade.

For educational purposes only. Signals are observations of market activity — not financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options trading involves substantial risk, including the loss of principal. Do your own research.

How these AAPL signals are generated

What a signal is
A timestamped observation, not an instruction. A quantitative model watches AAPL options activity in real time and records a signal when volume and flow change in a statistically significant way. An AI layer then summarizes and contextualizes the detection; it does not generate it.
Data sources
Live AAPL options volume and flow, evaluated against one-minute open/high/low/close bars for the underlying. Those same bars are what every historical figure on this page is measured from.
Timestamps
Signal times are US Eastern (America/New_York) — the market's own clock — and are not converted to the visitor's local time zone. Underlying bars run from the 9:30 AM ET open to the 4:00 PM ET close.
Update cadence
Signals are published as they are detected, during the live window of 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, excluding exchange holidays. This archive picks up new detections within about a minute; the aggregate statistics recompute daily.
How outcomes are measured
Entry is the one-minute bar at detection; exit is the bar at the observation's recorded close. Every figure is therefore intraday and same-session, never held overnight. All of it tracks the underlying's price movement, not option premiums and not profit and loss — actual option returns depend on quotes, fills, spread, and fees that this archive does not model.
Known limits
Signals with no matching intraday bar data are omitted from the statistics, and implausible moves are discarded as bad-data candles. Statistically significant activity describes what happened in the order book; it is not evidence that whoever traded it was informed or correct.
