Reading a signal
How to read these MSFT put signals
Each MSFT put signal is a timestamped algorithmic detection of unusual MSFT put-option activity. Read it together with its strike, expiration, detection time, and what MSFT did afterward. A put signal records which side of the options tape moved; it is not a recommendation to buy or sell puts.
What each MSFT put signal includes
- Direction
- Always put here. The MSFT archive also keeps call signals separately.
- Strike and expiration
- The exact contract that was flagged. Many MSFT signals are same-day, 0DTE contracts.
- Detection time
- US Eastern, to the minute, fixed when the signal fires and never edited afterward.
- MSFT price at detection
- The one-minute bar open at that minute. Every outcome in the archive is measured from it.
- Observed movement
- Where MSFT went between detection and the recorded close, plus the intraday peak in the signal's direction. Underlying price only, never option profit and loss.

Methodology
How these MSFT signals are generated
- What a signal is
- A timestamped observation, not an instruction. A quantitative model watches MSFT options activity in real time and records a signal when volume and flow change in a statistically significant way. An AI layer then summarizes and contextualizes the detection; it does not generate it.
- Data sources
- Consolidated U.S. options-market activity for MSFT, evaluated alongside one-minute open/high/low/close bars for the underlying. Published signals preserve the contract, detection time, and underlying price observed at that moment.
- Timestamps
- Signal times are US Eastern (America/New_York) — the market's own clock — and are not converted to the visitor's local time zone. Underlying bars run from the 9:30 AM ET open to the 4:00 PM ET close.
- Update cadence
- Signals are published as they are detected, during the live window of 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, excluding exchange holidays. This archive picks up new detections within about a minute; the aggregate statistics recompute daily.
- How outcomes are measured
- Entry is the one-minute bar at detection; exit is the bar at the observation's recorded close. Every figure is therefore intraday and same-session, never held overnight. All of it tracks the underlying's price movement, not option premiums and not profit and loss — actual option returns depend on quotes, fills, spread, and fees that this archive does not model.
- Known limits
- Signals with no matching intraday bar data are omitted from the statistics, and implausible moves are discarded as bad-data candles. Statistically significant activity describes what happened in the order book; it is not evidence that whoever traded it was informed or correct.
